More than 5,000 spectators and a large field of participants defied the heat and made the street circuit the “Monaco of Supermoto”. Ranshofner Lukas Höllbacher was also in the thick of things. The man from the Innviertel demonstrated how comfortable he feels on the track with the fastest lap in qualifying. The KTM rider then tackled the three races themselves from fourth place on the grid.

In races one and two, the 28-year-old found a good rhythm right from the start and set the fastest lap, but there was no way for him to get past Marc-Reiner Schmidt, who finished both races ahead of him as the winner. In the third and last race, Höllbacher won the start and led the field for a few laps, but in the end it was only enough for second place.
“I didn’t find a good feeling for the dusty off-road part and had to settle for second place. Schmidt was just too strong. Nevertheless, I’m happy with the result and the points for the championship. Thanks to my team KTM MTR, we did a good job . And many thanks also to my friends, family and MSC Mattighofen for cheering me on,” says the 28-year-old.
