For diving enthusiasts, a new smartwatch from “Garmin”

Garmin unveiled its new Descent G1 Solar smartwatch, which aims to meet the requirements of diving enthusiasts.

The American company explained that its new Descent G1 Solar smart watch is water-resistant to a pressure of 10 ATM, and therefore it can be used to record diving tours, and can be used to record the entry point via GPS, Glonass and Galileo systems.

Surf lovers can also know the height of the waves through the smart watch.

The new smart watch also allows recording heart rate and recording various sports activities with recommendations for the correct training method and proper relaxation, in addition to recording daily activity.

The technical equipment package includes a two-panel screen with a resolution of 176 x 176 pixels, and a monochrome MIP screen is used to make it easy to read the contents in direct sunlight.

Garmin indicated that the solar cell increases the battery life in smart watch mode to 4 months, and in GPS mode, the battery life extends to 39 hours, while in diving mode, the battery charge is sufficient to operate the smart watch for up to 25 hours, and in some usage modes. The smartwatch may not need to be recharged as long as it has been exposed to adequate sunlight.

The new Descent G1 Solar smartwatch supports Garmin Pay and Connect IQ Store, and is available in black and pastel blue.
