For another problem, Jeep must recall the new models of the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer

Jeep recalls are no longer in the news, it’s a regular thing every time, with poorly built car models and problems popping up along the way.

Jeep is recalling nearly 45,000 vehicles this time around because the upper B-pillar interior trim may not be fully seated, which might interfere with airbag deployment, officials said.

The recall covers certain Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer vehicles from 2022 through 2023, a total of 44,708, according to the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

“A compromised deployment of SABIC can reduce occupant protection in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury,” the NHTSA said. “As such, these vehicles do not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 226, ‘Ejection Mitigation.'”

The manufacturer will send notification letters to owners by September 22. Customers can bring their vehicles to the brand’s dealerships for a free inspection where they will reattach or replace the trim as needed, the NHTSA said.

Jeep doesn’t give us cars to test, since our criticisms of the poor manufacturing of their models have led their inept executives to not let our readers know regarding the details of their cars.
