For a strange reason, a woman shot and killed an Egyptian pharmacist in Sakaka • Al-Marsad Newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper: An Egyptian pharmacist was shot dead by a woman in the city of Sakaka in the Al-Jawf region, where his uncle’s son said that his parents had received news of the killing of their son Ahmed Hatem yesterday evening, from a colleague in Saudi Arabia.

Shot him while on duty

The son of the Egyptian pharmacist’s uncle explained that the news they received is that he died by a woman’s bullet while working in a well-known pharmacy as a result of a verbal altercation that took place between them, indicating that the full details of the incident in its dimensions were not sufficiently received, according to the newspaper “Cairo 24”.

The victim’s uncle added that they are waiting for the end of the official leave and the return of work in government institutions, to appoint a lawyer for the real estate registry to follow up on the procedures for retrieving the body, and following up on the details of the case.

A source confirmed that Ambassador Tariq Al-Melehi, Consul General in Riyadh, immediately dispatched the representative of the consulate in Sakaka to follow up on the investigation procedures with the accused who shot the Egyptian, which led to his death.

The cause of the crime

And social media circulated the news of the death of the Egyptian Ahmed Mohamed Hatem, who works as a pharmacist in a pharmacy in Sakaka, and the publications indicated that the death was caused by two bullets fired from a Saudi woman, who asked him to dispense an antibiotic without a doctor’s instructions, but he refused and was shot.

An official statement is expected from the competent authorities in the Kingdom regarding the incident to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
