The football tournament, which has been held for decades at the highest sports field in Styria in Schönberg-Lachtal, was held once more this year. The traditional clubs Musikverein, Landjugend, Jägerschaft and Union once once more presented their teams this year who fought for the tournament victory. This year, the rural youth was considered the favorite, the Union team had to compete a little weakened due to a few failures. The Musikverein and Jägerschaft were able to really challenge their opponents in their games, but it wasn’t enough to win the tournament. After exciting games in the first and second half of the season, the rural youth kickers, who drew 3:3 in the last game once morest the Union, deservedly won the tournament and the local championship title. The kickers of the Musikverein came in second, ahead of the hunters. This time it was only enough for the 4th place for the Union kickers.
