Madrid has been hosting the ATP and WTA 1000 tournaments since the end of last week – a tournament which has been particularly successful for Bienne’s Jil Teichmann, who qualified for the semi-finals.

But on Wednesday in Madrid, it was the Champions League semi-final return between Real Madrid and Manchester City that caught the eye. As a result, tennis players took the opportunity to go to Santiago Bernabeu.

Rafael Nadal might not decently miss this match, he who is a convinced supporter of Real. He eliminated Miomir Kecmanovic in time to be able to go quietly to the stadium and savor the incredible turnaround of the Merengue situation (from 0-1 to 2-1 between the 90th and 91st minute, then 3-1 at the start of extra time ).

Rafael Nadal was surrounded by his family and friends… but also by his great rival Novak Djokovic, who took his place very close to the Nadal clan.

The Spanish phenomenon Carlos Alcaraz was also present, as were many players, like the Swiss Belinda Bencic, the Canadian Leylah Fernandez or the Spaniard Paula Badosa, all eliminated prematurely from the Madrid tournament.
