Football: No doubt, Servette is varnished: 3-2 victory at GC
The Garnet led 2-0 with a brace from Fofana, before conceding the equalizer. But a decisive goal from Pflücke gives them three welcome points.

We don’t really know where he got it from, but Servette has the good idea to make the pair with some success at the start of the season. She once more helped them to a valuable 3-2 victory once morest Grasshopper at Letzigrund on Thursday, just to consolidate their second place in the Super League. With a decisive goal that Patrick Pflücke had to scratch following a scramble in the 77th minute. And this allows the people of Geneva to continue to live with a certain confidence.
And at the same time, why doubt? There are signs that reassure you. During a half-time, the Servettian project which consisted in sending centers towards the surface of GC and attempting one or the other improbable shot seemed to have to summon a combination of circumstances to work. The best thing to do in these cases? According to Servette FC, it was enough to insist. The proof is that the match turned the first time in the right direction.
Indeed, it was enough for a cross from Derek Kutesa terribly badly returned full axis by Li Lei for Boubacar Fofana to light up from the entrance to the area and open the scoring (56th). Enough to legitimize the approach, especially since the French striker doubled the lead four minutes later, on a penalty he had himself obtained (for lack of Loosli).
Still, there would still be some reason to doubt. Because the more the matches progress, the less the Garnet seem infallible defensively. The reality of this Servette is that it reveals certain weaknesses. Thursday, they had already been highlighted in the first period with two decisive saves from Jérémy Frick in front of Renat Dadashov in one minute (13th), and on a post from Kawabe five minutes later.
But they were even more glaring with the injury of Steve Rouiller (which already makes up for the absence of Séverin) following the 2-0. It was Anthony Baron (who had arrived from Nyon this summer to strengthen the U21s and preferred to the young Monteiro) who replaced him, and the latter had to attend more or less actively to Hayao Kawabe’s double. First by following a deflection from Momoh on a shot from Herc (67′), then following a tumble on the right side concluded with a pure shot on the small side (72′).
And yet, even this express equalization was not likely to sink them. Without really understanding why, or how. Perhaps it is better not to ask too much the question, three days before moving on to Saint-Gall. It will probably be without Rouiller, nor Antunes (released at the half hour mark). But still with their good friend?
