The club from the Crimea was allowed to play in the football championship of Russia

Football club “Sevastopol” received a certificate of the Football National League (FNL) to participate in the Second League in division “B”. This was reported by the press service of the FNL.
“A meeting of the commission of the National Football League was held, at which it was decided to issue an FNL certificate to clubs to participate in the Second League competitions in division B. Among those who received the certificate of FC Sevastopol, the message says.
The integration of the Crimean football clubs is not the first time. The Russian Football Union (RFU) has already attempted to include them in the Second League. In particular, the 2014/15 season in this tournament (at that time it was called PFL) was started by Zhemchuzhina (Yalta), SKChF (Sevastopol) and TSK (Simferopol), but already in December 2014, under pressure from the Union of European Associations (UEFA) these clubs had to be withdrawn from the tournament and their results annulled.
In August 2022, when the FNL created a working group on Crimean clubs, UEFA reminded that they did not give Crimean clubs permission to compete in competitions under the auspices of the RFU. RFU President Alexander Dyukov in October 2022 declaredwhich sees no grounds for deprivation of membership in FIFA due to the inclusion of Crimean clubs in the FNL, but allowed the development of any scenario.
There are eight teams in total in the Crimean Premier League. If in the course of the season four of them immediately move to the Russian Second League, the competition in Crimea will end ahead of schedule.
