Football: Jude Bellingham can be punished after the obscene gesture

The obscene gesture came after Jude Bellingham’s dream goal against Slovakia. The aftermath has been about whether the gesture was directed at Slovakia’s bench or not.

Bellingham has its own explanation.

“An inside joke aimed at some close friends who were at the match. I have nothing but respect for the way the Slovakian national team played tonight.”he signs X.

Now Bellingham is being investigated by Uefa.

“UEFA’s ethics and disciplinary inspector will conduct a disciplinary investigation into a potential breach by Jude Bellingham”, it says in the report.

Now the Uefa disciplinary committee is waiting for the referee’s report. After that, a decision can be made regarding a possible penalty.
