Inka Grings (44) will be the new coach of the Swiss women’s team. The German, who currently leads the FC Zurich women’s team, will replace Dane Nils Nielsen from 2023.
ASF has given Inka Grings an open-ended contract. The German, who began her journey on the bench in 2014 following the end of her playing career, arrived at FC Zurich on February 1, 2021. Last season, the club achieved the double by winning the championship and the Cup from Switzerland.
“I am extremely proud to be able to work with the best players in the country and I look forward to this exciting and challenging mission.“, said the new national coach. “The objective is clear: we want to succeed and, following a short and intensive period of preparation, invest everything to pass the group stage at the World Cup.
