On Tuesday, Sanders took advantage of his daily press conference to call out the NCAA on this subject.
“Our kids were robbed during our game last week. I think it’s a real parody. I expect the NCAA to do something regarding it,” said the man who was one of the big stars of the NFL in the 1990s.
“They are college-age players and I am convinced that they do not think regarding taking out insurance,” added Sanders, before asking the NCAA to put in place a reimbursement plan.
“I heard the home team locker room was also broken into. It makes no sense to get robbed while you spill your guts on the football field. I hope the NCAA does something regarding this. She does things for everything else, she has to do it for this one too.”
On Monday, UCLA announced it had filed a complaint with the Pasadena Police Department regarding the items that were stolen from the Buffaloes locker room. No culprit has yet been identified.
