Then Chrudim took the initiative, but did not use its superiority and chances. When the game began to settle again, Žižkov threatened twice, also because of the bad turf. The hero of the last few weeks, Šerák, put a mole on the turf before the kick-off and greased the opponent, who didn’t quite overcome him. A few seconds later, however, Jiří Sodoma was no longer joking and in the 24th minute he headed goalkeeper Chrudim and sent Viktorka into the lead.
The goal shook Chrudim at first, but then Žižkov pushed and held in his half. Finally, in the 39th minute, David Bauer’s spot-kick took the lead, and a few minutes before halftime, the score was 1:1, and it wasn’t long before the Chrudim team turned the game around in the first half.
However, Chrudim’s defense did not have its day on Saturday morning. In the 52nd minute, she let Václav Prošek escape through the middle of the field, who ran alone to Jáchym Šerák, who slipped under the Žižkov football player’s bluff, and he then had the simple task of clearing the ball into the goal and sending Prague back into the lead. In the 63rd minute, Chrudim had a corner kick, but Žižkov quickly turned the game around and Antonín Vaníček made it 3:1 after a quick counterattack.
The impenetrable wall in the Chrudim goal had its day today. The fourth goal from the 70th minute, after a break and a shot by Jiří Sodoma, cannot be missed.
Chrudimské was completely scalded by this development and, except for platonic pressure, they could not resist more. On the contrary, Žižkov was still threatening with quick counterattacks.
When the referee signaled the setting of 2 minutes beyond the normal playing time, Tomáš Necid came onto the field at the same time. He stayed on the field for less than a minute and after a quick action he took down the defender and the goalkeeper and completed the work of destruction for Chrudi when he scored the fifth goal and thus increased the lead in the scorers’ table, which reigns with 9 goals scored.
