Football: a young Canet supporter beaten up by Lyon supporters during a Gambardella Cup match

“We welcomed a group of around fifty Lyon supporters, which was not planned, says Jordi Delclos, the general manager of the Canet club on France Bleu. A 17-year-old Canet supporter was taken to task by a dozen Lyon supporters… because he was wearing a sweater in the colors of OM. “He got beaten up, he got mugged. Then they undressed him, they took off his sweater leaving him shirtless, and they took his personal belongings, ”continues the club manager.

The teenager had to be transported to the emergency room following receiving “blows in the back and in the neck”. His family will file a complaint. The Canet RFC club will file a handrail.

“A beautiful image tarnished by the lynching of one of our minor supporters at the end of the match by your supporters group. Our club cannot tolerate such actions and several complaints will be filed very quickly, ”said the club in a tweet, questioning Jean-Michel Aulas. The president of OL, according to France Bleu, called the manager of Canet.

“OL learned from the networks that a Canet supporter had been attacked by individuals and has just contacted the club manager for information. OL had not organized any trips and will investigate the facts. OL condemns all violence, ”wrote the Lyon club on twitter.
