Food: the daily consumption of fatty and sugary foods, even in small quantities, influences our brain and pushes us to eat more of them.

It is very easy to become addicted to fatty and sugary foods due to uncontrolled consumption. Watch your diet.

A favored consumption

Whether it’s a portion of chocolate cake or a packet of chips once in a while, we all have a little indulgence. Besides, there is nothing wrong with that. In effect, we have the right to please our taste buds a little from time to time. But the problem is that we tend to become completely addicted to these foods. In effect, without good vigilance, the consumption of sugar and fat can quickly become an addiction. So, it is important to watch your diet. But the temptation is, for some, too strong.

Indeed, this kind of food is generally inexpensive. Besides, they are always more affordable than healthy food products. Indeed, between chocolate for next to nothing and overpriced organic vegetables, the choice is quickly made. Moreover, companies encourage us to consume. With a wide variety of choices, pretty packaging and tempting prices, it’s hard not to be tempted.

A food study

Sugar and fat have a bad reputation. In effect, consumed in large quantities, these two foods promote metabolic disorders, obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and other atrocious diseases. But it does not stop there, a large presence of fat and sugar in your diet impacts your brain.

This was confirmed by the teams of Dana Small, from the Yale University School of Medicine, and those of Marc Tittgemeyer, from the Max Planck Institute for Metabolism Research in Cologne. This study looked at the ways that overly rich foods can shape our brains. And the least we can say is that the results are alarming.

The alarm bell is ringing

Thanks to this study, we were able to demonstrate that the consumption of sugar and fat influences our brain. In effect, if these foods are consumed regularly, one becomes addicted to them. Besides, quantity has nothing to do with it. In effect, no matter how much fat or sugar you consume, when the consumption is daily, one will develop an addiction. A daily diet full of fat and sugar is therefore harmful to our health.

Besides, like any addiction, we will tend to want more. Thus the amount of sugar and fat consumed will increase day by day according to the demands of our brain. At the end, we find ourselves completely doped with sugar and fat. We then fall prey to all kinds of diseases.
