The Food Bank of Angola, with the support of the Omatapalo Group, will carry out, from the 25th to the 26th of this month, a campaign to collect and distribute food items aimed at combating hunger and malnutrition among the population in Angola.
The collection campaign, which usually takes place in the provinces of Luanda and Benguela, will be extended, for the first time, to the province of Huíla, in an initiative that will count on the active participation of volunteer employees of the Omatapalo Group, in order to increase it to more than 20 points and collection capacity, says a statement from the organization to which OPAIS had access.
According to the document, the donations will be allocated to 23 shelter institutions and the partnership between the two organizations envisages raising basic foods such as milk, rice, pasta, oil, grains and beans, tuna, sausages, biscuits and breakfast cereals. lunch.
