Due to the security situation and after assessing the situation, the Home Front Command updated the public defense guidelines. The instructions are updated starting today, Sunday, August 25, from 6:30 a.m., until Monday, August 26, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.:

Partial activity – the conflict line, Golan North, Golan South, Upper Galilee, Lower Galilee, Central Galilee, Bekat Bin Shan Valley, the Valleys, the Gulf, Carmel, Wadi Ara, Menashe, Sharon, Dan

Educational activities – educational activities can be held in a place from which you can reach a standard protected area during the defense, subject to the instructions of the Northern Command.

Gatherings and services – can be held with a limit of up to 30 people in an open area and up to 300 people in a building.

The confrontation line – the beaches are closed to the public.

Workplaces – it is possible to operate in a building or in a place from which you can reach a standard protected space while defending yourself.

It’s important to remember, when warning about missile fire, you don’t wait for interceptions and certainly don’t take pictures – it’s life-threatening!

Has an alert been received in your area? This is how you should act when you are in a building, in an open area or while traveling. Remember that you must wait 10 minutes, no less, for fear of prolonged firing and damage from intercept fragments that have not yet landed on the ground. Remember, Home Front Command directives save lives.

The Home Front Command stated: “Each and every one of us must make sure that we are prepared and know how to act to protect our lives and our loved ones. We must continue to follow the instructions published by the Home Front Command through the official means of distribution.”
