Following a power outage affecting the Brussels municipalities of Schaerbeek, Evere and Etterbeek, RTBF is no longer able to broadcast its programs live from the TV channels of La Une, Tipik and La Trois, Vivacité radio, as well as all live radio stations. Programs broadcast live on Auvio are also unavailable.
Only La Première radio still broadcasts on a reserve battery.
The website rtbf.be is operational, as well as all VOD content on Auvio (i.e. content that is not broadcast live).
According to the Brussels manager Sibelga, 61% of the impacted network has been restored. The outage should be completely resolved around 5:30 p.m., but the impact on our facilities is still unknown.
