Almost eight years after the arcade release of the last episode, Bandai Namco’s flagship fighting game license returns this January. Tekken 8 could be an important episode in the franchise.
The Tekken license has been occupying Japanese arcade machines as well as our PCs and video game consoles for almost thirty years. To celebrate this anniversary, Bandai Namco is launching the eighth main episode during the end of this month of January. This new opus will offer the continuation of the story of recurring characters, around thirty playable characters containing a lot of new faces, as well as revised and improved gameplay to encourage aggression.
An episode which also promises to be a great entry point into the series since this Tekken 8 offers many ways to get used to its competitive gameplay. In addition to the now classic “auto-combos”, the game provides other ways to learn from our mistakes and thus be able to improve our level.
