The first traders from the Fnideq economic activity zone (ZAEF) were welcomed on Saturday during a visit chaired by the Wali of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, Mohamed Mhidia. In total, 53 traders, recipients of the warehouses, having been selected following the call for expressions of interest launched last June, have been welcomed into the ZAEF. This zone of economic activities, which will contribute to the fight once morest smuggling, required an investment of more than 200 million DH. It is part of the economic and social development program of the province of Tetouan and the prefecture of M’diq-Fnideq.
This visit was attended by the governor of Fahs-Anjra province, Abdelkhalek Marzouki, the governor of the prefecture of M’diq-Fnideq, Yassin Jari, the president of the region, Omar Moro, the DG of the Agency for the promotion and development of the North (APDN), Mounir El Bouyoussfi, the DG of Tanger Med Zones, Jaafar Mrhardy, the DG of the Regional Investment Center (CRI) of the region, Jalal Benhayoun, and local and provincial authorities.
