Twenty-four hours following the demonstration of the National Front for the Defense of the Constitution (FNDC), the Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization Mory Condé acknowledged the cases of deaths recorded on this occasion. He then offered condolences to the families.
It should be noted that Mory did not mention the death cases in his last statement. He had just indicated that there were injuries on the side of civilians and law enforcement while the Fndc counted 3 dead.
This evening through his Facebook account, the Minister of Territorial Administration indicated that during a meeting with the United States Embassy in Guinea, Troy DAMIAN Filtreil, having explained the context of the course of the demonstration on 16 February and offered condolences to the families of the victims of the killings. A way of tacitly recognizing that a man has died.
“By the way, I reiterated to his Excellency Mr. Ambassador, the firm will of the Government to prosecute the sponsors of the violence, but while waiting for the responsibilities to be located and for justice to take stock, I offer my sincere condolences to the grieving families, all my sympathy to the affected, “wrote the Minister.
