Cambridge, United Kingdom – March 28, 2022 – Flying Wild Hoga leading Polish developer, today announces the launch date for the open beta of Space Punks, its looter-shooter. Starting April 20, 2022, PC players will be able to “Rip Through Space” in the galaxy of weapons, glory, and action of Space Punks, via the Epic Games Store. This step is an important step in the continued development of Space Punks as an online free-to-play title.
Designed by the Flying Wild Hog studio in Krakow, Space Punks East a free action role-playing game (ARPG) set in an irreverent sci-fi universe. Players fight their way through this galaxy to fame and fortune by earning ‘easy’ money in perilous ways. Space Punks is published by the British publisher Jagexdeveloper and publisher of the iconic franchise RuneSpace. Jagex brings more than 20 years of experience in game creation to the latest Flying Wild Hog title.
As part of the open beta update (or “The Cracked One” update, for those who follow the evolution of the game), new and old players will be able to experience the overhaul of the main gameplay loop with improvements to the “Get-A-Job” and “Crafton 2000” systems. Likewise, new ‘end-game’ content will be made available with “The Crack”, a new endless experience, located in the depths of what appears to be a black hole. In this new adventure, four players can dive together to explore the unknown and reach infinity.
