Frontier Airlines will begin offering non-stop flights from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport al John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York (JFK) y al Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey (EWR) starting in June.
Service to JFK will operate twice daily and flights to Newark will operate once or twice daily depending on the day of the week. The addition of these two routes brings the total number of destinations Frontier flies to from San Juan to 27.
In a press release, the airline reported that it will offer fares starting at $59 on the two new routes.

“Given the large number of Puerto Ricans with family and friends in New York and New Jersey, this new service will provide a convenient ultra-low rate option to see their loved ones and enjoy the sights and sounds of one of the most visited tourist destinations. popular in the U.S.,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network operations and design at Frontier Airlines.
All routes from Puerto Rico, including San Juan, Ponce and Aguadilla, are included in a current fare offer, with prices to some destinations starting at $39.
