During the 19th edition of the ALTA AGM & Airline Leaders Forum, a conference for the commercial aviation industry in Latin America and the Caribbean this Tuesday, October 24, in Cancún, Mexico, the airline’s CEO low cost Argentine Flybondi, Mauricio Sana, met with the National Secretary of Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Ports and Airports (MPOR), Juliano Noman, and the director of the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) Ricardo Catanant to reaffirm the airline’s interest from below cost of operating domestic flights in Brazil.
During the meeting, representatives discussed various issues related to the air transport situation in Brazil, as well as the current destinations operated by Flybondi in the country. In this context, Flybondi’s CEO reaffirmed the company’s interest in continuing to expand its operations in the Brazilian market, as well as reinforcing its intention to start domestic flights in the country.
“This meeting represents an important step in the dialogue and collaboration between ANAC Brasil and Flybondi, and both parties hope to continue working together to promote the growth of aviation in the region”, stated Mauricio Sana.
The meeting was also attended, on ANAC’s side, by the head of the International Advisory Office, Marcelo Lima. On Flybondi’s side, in addition to CEO Mauricio Sana, the director of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, Lucia Ginzo, participated in the meeting.
