Fluke offers a new adapter for the installation and maintenance of electric vehicle charging stations

The FEV300 electric vehicle charging station adapter from Fluke simulates an electric vehicle charging in AC Mode 3 with type 1 and type 2 connectors, allowing the output of an EV charging station to be tested efficiently and safely.

Capable of simulating an electric vehicle connected to the Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS), this user-friendly tool allows you to safely and accurately test the output voltage of a Mode 3 AC charging station equipped with Type 1 or Type 2, in accordance with IEC/HD 60364-7-722 and IEC/EN 61851-1.

“The new FEV300 adapter includes essential safety features, such as a tactile electrode function, capable of quickly detecting a potentially dangerous ground fault, and has improved safety sockets equipped with plastic covers protecting the connectors in case of rain for example. From a safety standpoint, Fluke’s new FEV300 adapter outperforms all competitors in the market”said Hans-Dieter Schuessele, EMEA applications and technology expert at Fluke.
