The President of the College of Doctors, Cătălina Poiană, supports the initiative, saying that this way family doctors would have more time to deal with prevention.
“Collaboration and communication are the key words in addressing this issue. I think that the existence of that course through which minimal training is done to ensure the possibility of carrying out certain types of vaccinations in the context of pharmacies represented a turning point that cannot be be only a benefit for our patients, because, in fact, all these initiatives must be thought through two elements: one to ensure a plus for our patients, but, at the same time, to ensure, on the one hand, safety for the patient who is apply this. And, on the other hand, the health professional who is involved in this act must have the legal coverage and training that will allow him to perform an operation or an additional act”, says Cătălina Poiană.
