Flu, flu-like infections, Covid: Cold wave: Number of sick days continues to rise

The infection season has begun. Last week, 6,817 people in Burgenland reported sick. The number of sick days continues to rise, according to the latest figures from the Austrian Health Insurance Fund. The main reasons for reporting incapacity for work are flu-like infections, influenza and Covid-19.

In the previous week there were 6,212 sick days reported in this context. A further increase is expected in the coming weeks. General practitioners can therefore prepare for full practices.

Covid cases in Eisenstadt hospital are increasing

The autumn wave hit Burgenland earlier this year than last year.
