A Florida police officer experienced a funny situation following a child called 911 so he might give him a hug.

When Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Scott Pracht responded to a call made by the young boy, the boy’s mother quickly guessed who had started the situation.

“To be honest, he doesn’t even know what 911 is,” explained the woman who confirmed that her son made the call with a cell phone that is not connected.

You should know that even without being connected to a telephone service, a cell phone can be used to make an emergency call.

“I wanted to give him a hug,” the child can be heard saying in a video captured by Mr. Pracht’s body camera, who explained to him that 911 calls were reserved for emergencies.

« [Le 911]it’s for when you’re in trouble and you need help […] You have to be careful when you call this number,” he told the little boy before giving him a “fist bump.”
