A night out with a mystery woman cost a lot of money for a Florida man, who says his companion drugged him and then stole more than $50,000 from him on watches and other items.
Speaking to WSVN, Bobby Scali, 45, says that He doesn’t remember going home to Fort Lauderdale. following spending a night with said woman on June 10, despite the fact that the video surveillance cameras recorded him returning.
Later, it is seen in the images how the woman leaves the building two hours later.
“I legitimately do not remember having returned to my house. Supposedly we walked back. I don’t remember that,” Scali told the station.
The man narrated that when he was in a bar with friends, he was approached by a woman, but he fainted shortly following.
“Next thing I know, I woke up in my apartment almost paralyzed. I mightn’t really feel my legs, I mightn’t speak,” she recalled.
The doctors warned him lots of drugs to which he was subjected.
“Doctors said he should have died with the amount of drugs he had”, he explained.
Tallying up the damage, Scali said that when he regained consciousness hee was missing his phone, a $40,000 Rolex and a $10,000 Breitling watch.
Scali’s case continues to be investigated by Florida police, while the woman has not been identified at this time.
After an unforgettable night experience, but not for the right reasons, the 45-year-old man has learned his lesson and points out that now his nights out on the town are a little different.
“It’s definitely different. I don’t even care if I get my valuables back. I would like her to be caught and prosecuted,” Scali told WISTV.
