A man from the city of Apopka, in the state of Florida, won a $1 million prize from an instant ticket that only cost him $20 dollars and that he purchased at a grocery and convenience store in Seminole County, Florida Lottery officials announced.
The player, named Robert White, 61, claimed the $20 Gold Rush Limited ticket prize he got at the Quick Serve store located at 9250 Bear Lake Road, as reported on the Click Orlando portal.
When you go to claim your prize at the Florida Lottery Orlando District Office, White chose to receive his money as a one-time payment of $795,000..
On the other hand, the Quick Serve store will receive an additional commission of $2 thousand dollars just for selling the winning ticket.
‘Gold Rush Limited’ Scratch-Off game, which went on sale in September 2021 and offers 32 top prizes of $5 millionas well as 100 prizes of $1 million dollars.
