Job resignations in Florida increased at the fastest rate in the United States, making it the state where resignation rates are rising the fastest.

The specialists of ResumeBlaze conducted an analysis of data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and found that resignation rates have increased 7.41% in Florida between September 2022 and September 2023, the largest increase of any state in the United States.

Florida is followed only by Louisiana and Texas, which ranked second and third respectively, with dropout rates increasing more than 3% in each state.

“Across the United States, dropout rates fell 11.54% between September 2022 and September 2023, from 2.6 to 2.3. With dropout rates increasing by more than 3%, Texas was the third and final state to have a higher dropout rate year over year.

The resignation rate stood at 2.7 in September 2022, and 369,000 workers left their jobs during this month. During the same month in 2023, the rate had increased to 2.8, an increase of 3.7%. In the month of September 2023, 396,000 workers resigned, and one in every 35 employees in the state left their job during this month.
