On June 7, 2022, La Poste will issue a stamp bearing the effigy of Alain Resnais (1922-2014) printed in 705,000 copies. It’s Floc’h who crunches him in the red shirt and black tie he used to wear. A fair return for the illustrator and author of comic strips (“Albany and Sturgess”, “Blitz”, “Never two without three”) since the director and screenwriter had him produce some posters for his films such as “Smoking / No Smoking”, “We know the song” or “Not on the mouth”.
