Flights to the east suspended! The Minister of Transport, Ramon Velasquez Araguayan, reported that flights to the states of Nueva Esparta and Sucre were suspended due to the passage of Hurricane Beryl.

“It has been decided to suspend the departure of vessels in these entities as a preventive measure to guarantee operational safety and the well-being of the population,” he reported on his X account.

In its latest statement, the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics, INAC, reported that Beryl continues to move through the Lesser Antilles, causing catastrophic winds and storm surges, affecting the eastern region of the country.

For its part, INAMEH stated that the passage of tropical wave number 16, which became Hurricane Beryl with category 4, will not affect Venezuelan territory.
