Due to the cancellation of flights that lasted for two days, an airplane is coming and going from Jeju International Airport at the rate of one every 1.7 minutes to load tourists who are isolated in Jeju.

According to the Jeju Regional Headquarters of the Korea Airports Corporation, a total of 497 flights were scheduled to depart and arrive in Jeju on the 24th. This number includes 10 international departures and arrivals.

The first flight departed from Jeju at 7:50 am on the same day, and the last flight is scheduled to land in Jeju at 10:15 pm on the same day.

For 14 hours and 25 minutes, there are 497 flights arriving and departing from Jeju, and arithmetically, an airplane arrives and departs from Jeju Airport at a rate of one every 1.7 minutes.

As of 3:30 p.m. that day, a total of 19 flights were canceled, including 9 domestic flights to Jeju and 10 domestic flights leaving Jeju. Deteriorating weather in other regions other than Jeju is the cause.

A total of 251 flights were operated, including 4 international departures and arrivals and 247 domestic departures and arrivals, and 77 departures and arrivals were delayed.

According to the airport corporation, 279 flights were canceled on the 22nd alone.

On the 23rd, all flights except for one international departure and arrival were canceled. Only 296 flights were canceled in advance due to bad weather at Jeju Airport, and 176 out of 178 scheduled flights were canceled.
