It’s a real invasion. Several inhabitants of Moircy (municipality of Libramont-Chevigny) complain of a spectacular invasion… of flies. Our colleagues from RTL Info went on site to check and the complainants are unanimous. “It’s catastrophic,” says one of the residents. Another woman confirms. “It’s almost impossible to eat outside.”
Faced with this situation, the inhabitants compete in imagination to scare away the insects, without much success.
Questioned by our colleagues, the mayor of the town, Laurence Crucifix, confirms the problem. “The flies are abnormally numerous. (…) As long as we do not know where the flies come from, it is difficult to do something”. Analyzes are carried out.
