Fleury leaves the Wild entourage

Marc-André Fleury is leaving the Minnesota Wild for personal reasons according to what The Athletic media reported on Sunday.

According to journalist Michael Russo, Fleury is not on his plate. Hours before the Wild’s game once morest the Blues on New Year’s Eve in St. Louis, he was spotted looking concerned on the phone, presumably receiving some bad news.

And following a 6-5 loss to the Buffalo Sabers on Saturday, Fleury was inconsolable in the locker room, feeling he had let his teammates down. See the highlights of the encounter in the video above.

Also according to Russo, the Quebec goaltender will fly to Montreal and return to the Wild on Tuesday while the team is visiting New York.

In 25 games this season, Fleury has posted a 13-8-2 record, a 2.94 goals- once morest average and a .901 save percentage.
