With the fifth win in the fifth game, Austria’s handball men secured first place in the European Championship qualifier on Wednesday. In Bucharest, Ales Pajovic’s team beat Romania 35:30 (19:17), the ticket for the finals in January 2024 in Germany had already been in their pockets.
