Flavia Palmiero shared her excitement about returning to the Martín Fierro
Owner of authentic beauty, Flavia Palmiero dazzled on the Martín Fierro Awards red carpet and aroused sighs on social media, but behind her look there is a story that the actress shared exclusively hours before with Teleshow.
The singer and former host of children’s hits revealed how she thought about the event when putting together her outfit. “We chose the dress together with Gabriel Lage, who always dresses me for the red carpets in Cannes, so we are very well aligned. But since they notified me ten days in advance we didn’t have time, we would have loved to do something especially for the party,” she explained and gave details of the design.
“It is a dress that I am going to wear from a place closer to the character, to Madame Requin, to her story, and it has to do with how I feel when I choose an outfit, especially for such an important evening. It is a sexy design, but at the same time it is comfortable,” she said about the model, black with lace and sparkles. “It is strapless with an incredible neckline, mermaid style with a train and very stylish,” she added about the haute couture garment.

The designer explained that Flavia “wears a handmade couture piece of refined and understated elegance, with a strapless neckline, worked on a textile base adorned with matching embroidery.” The outfit was completed with jewelry from the Flavia Collection, made especially for the occasion. The shoes are by Sylvie Geronimi and the clutch is by Dior.
“I am here with Madame Requin, a truly incredible series that I starred in two years ago and that aired on Public TV at the end of last year,” she said, about the story that received three nominations.
In the category that recognizes the best fiction of the year 2023, it will compete with Argentina, Tierra de Amor y Venganza-Segunda temporada (El Trece), Buenos Chicos (El Trece), Familia de diván (El Nueve) and Melody, la chica del metro (América). The fiction also has a chance to win a statuette in the supporting actress category, with the nomination of Leticia Brédice and in the direction category, where Alberto Lecchi is shortlisted. “I say that it is as if we always know that reality surpasses fiction, but here fiction surpasses reality,” he explained about the series.

Excited to participate in the ceremony again, which she has not attended for many years, Flavia expressed her emotion. “What I feel today is a lot of happiness. I am very happy to be able to participate in this ceremony, which is the most important celebration in our environment, in this environment that I chose 40 years ago, incredible. And well, many years have passed, many, thirty-odd years since I was nominated, unfortunately, but well, things happen,” said the actress who arrived at the ceremony accompanied by her partner, Luis Scalella.
“The truth is, it is an honor in these times in Argentina and the world, when making fiction is so difficult because many things really have to come together, having found the ideal character, because it is a tremendous character. I hope that she wins the award and that everyone can see the series, and that these awards give a great boost to television, a product that was already broadcast on Public Television,” she added, excited and very grateful.

The story tells of the tumultuous days of Madame Jacqueline Requin, a recently widowed woman who is a banker, an expert in economics and the president of a financial group that forms the bank she inherited from her husband, who died in a dubious accident. The bank is in imminent danger of bankruptcy and on a dizzying eight-day trip to Buenos Aires, Jacqueline will try to carry out a mega political-financial scam that will allow her to obtain the funds to rescue it. This will generate a network of corruption that, as collateral damage, will irreparably damage her only emotional refuge: her daughter and her granddaughter.
