The London Film Festival kicked off on October 5th. A few days following its launch, it was the turn of the cast of “The Good Nurse” to parade in front of the photographers. An appointment that the main actors, Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne, did not miss.

For the occasion, the actor was able to count on the support of his wife, Hannah Bagshawewho also lent herself to the game of the photocall.
“It was a big responsibility”
After the sagaFantastic BeastsEddie Redmayne tackled a whole new genre. In this thriller, released on September 11 on Netflix and inspired by a true story, the Briton plays Charlie Cullen, a serial killer nurse. He is believed to have murdered around 100 patients during his 16-year career in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
For her part, Jessica Chastain slips into the skin of Amy Loughren, a caring nurse and single mother suffering from a serious heart problem. A role that was not easy for the wife of Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo. “It was very stressful because I’m playing a real person. I have to both honor what she’s done, her heroic deeds, but I also have to make sure it’s not sensationalized and fetishized. So it was a big responsibility,” she told Archyde.com at the Festival.
