Despite most likely not clinching the title, Strobl navigated a surprisingly successful autumn in the 2nd Regional League North, remaining undefeated at home. They continue fighting for promotion. Many in the Flachgau followed suit, with
Siezenheim’s fifth-place finish in the Salzburg League and second spot in the 2nd Class North B signifying a strong season thus far. Oberndorf’s resurgence after their drop to 2nd Class zone A proves they remain a strong contender.
Facing Challenges: Teams Battling to Escape the Bottom
Relegation looms for some. Following a tough
autumn, Grünau struggles both on and off the field, flailing in 15th place and desperately seeking their first win. Five other Flachgau clubs face a similar fight for survival in 1st Class, with St. Georgen struggling offensively scoring only nine goals on their
journey.
Even as the first half unfolds, disappointment lingers as high hopes fail to materialize for Obertrum, perched in 4th place, they remain within shot of achieving promotion despite some disappointing performances.
