FKI delivers Corona self-diagnosis kit to Taiwan

The Federation of Korean Industries (the Federation of Korean Industries) announced on the 6th that it had sent a ‘self-diagnosis kit’ to Taiwan, which is suffering from a recent surge in Omicron’s confirmed cases. On this day, the FKI donated a ‘self-diagnosis kit’ to Taiwan’s International Economic Cooperation Association (CIECA) through the Taipei Korean representative to help Taiwan overcome Corona 19 Omicron.

Taiwan is Korea’s 5th largest trading partner, with trade volume of regarding 47.8 billion dollars as of 2021 and 2.5 million mutual visitors in 2019, before the pandemic. .

In particular, businessmen from Korea and Taiwan have maintained a long-standing cooperative relationship in terms of private economic exchange, and the FKI has held the ‘Korea-Taiwan Economic Cooperation Committee’ every year since 1968.

This year, the ’46th Korea-Taiwan Economic Cooperation Committee’ will be held in October with Taiwan’s partner, the International Economic Cooperation Association (CIECA).

Meanwhile, in Taiwan, where the number of confirmed coronavirus cases has increased since the end of March, the number of confirmed cases per day surpassed 88,000 on June 1, and the number of confirmed cases is increasing daily.
