July 17, 2023 GeForce NVIDIA has released firmware that fixes a bug that occurs when using DisplayPort 1.3/1.4 monitors in Pascal and Maxwell environments. When using DisplayPort 1.3/1.4 monitors in Pascal and Maxwell environments such as GeForce GTX 1000 series and 900 series, nothing may be displayed until the OS loads. NVIDIA DisplayPort Firmware Updater 1.1 released by NVIDIA fixes this bug. The target grabbers are as follows. NVIDIA TITAN series: TITAN X (Maxwell), TITAN X (Pascal), TITAN XPGeForce GTX 1000 series: GeForce GT 1030, GeForce GTX 1050, GTX 1050Ti, GTX 1060, GTX 1070, GTX 1070Ti, GTX 1080, GTX 1080TiGeForce GTX 900 series :GeForce GTX 950, GTX 950Ti, GTX 960, GTX 970, GTX 980, GTX 980TiGeForce GTX 700 series: GeForce GTX 745, GTX 750, GTX 750TiQuadro series: Maxwell and Pascal products NVIDIA DisplayPort Firmware Updater 1.1 can be downloaded from the NVIDIA site please. This Firmware Updater was already released in 2018, but was re-released as version 1.1 on June 26, 2023. It is not written how it differs from the one in 2018. When you run the downloaded file, the following screen will be displayed, so press “NEXT” to proceed. Also, never turn off your PC while it’s running. In addition, the firmware will not be updated even if it is used in an environment other than the above products.
