New York: Five people, including two Indians, were arrested while trying to cross the US border illegally. The others are citizens of Nigeria, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
The US Border Patrol team from the Detroit sector caught those who tried to reach the United States by boat from Canada. According to a statement from US Customs and Border Protection, the incident occurred near Algonac, Michigan.
At midnight on February 20, it was spotted on the surveillance system and alerted to the Border Patrol team. The two settlers were completely chilled due to the winter. The detained group is being interrogated.
