Diablo IV Season 2 was announced last night. It’s a bit surprising that Blizzard does it so early but let’s not hide our pleasure, there is good news in the novelties unveiled by the developers. In this article, I offer you five elements that should make you smile!
1. Renown Reward

2. Unique Items
Season of Blood will introduce 5 high level bosses with the ability to target specific unique and super-unique items as drops.

Right now it’s unclear how this will all work, but maybe each boss will have a specific drop list, making it possible to target specific bosses if you, by any chance, need the Harlequin Crest. .
3. Revamped resistance system
Right now, resistances are less useful than what we’ve been used to in Diablo. It is even difficult to really understand how they work. As an indication, be aware that the fire resistances and company do not work as one might expect at first glance. Your armor does indeed already reduce some elemental damage. As a result, your elemental resistances are less effective than intended. We are talking regarding a reduction of 50% in PvE and 65% in PvP.
With the redesign, the situation should improve. Finally we hope so.
4. Look for your items in the chest
Hallelujah, you will be able to find an object easily in your chest full of treasures accumulated during your adventures in Sanctuary. Blizzard announces the arrival of a search but also a filtering system, enough to make life easier for those who mess up anyhow 😀
5. Stored
Gems will no longer take up inventory space. Blizzard will probably allocate a dedicated space for them, which is a great thing. Note that this does not mean that there will be no storage limit, but the gems will no longer be present in your standard inventory.
