Five people have been arrested accused of trying to kill a young man with machetes in Pamplona within a joint operation of the Municipal police and the National Police.

The operation, found low summary secrecy, has concluded with the detention this week of four men, two in the San Jorge neighborhood of Pamplona, ​​one in Zaragoza and another in Valencia, which will be brought to justice in the next few hours, and which will be added to a male detained in summer, according to ‘Diario de Noticias’ and have confirmed to Efe sources of the investigation.

The facts, which relate to a reckoning, took place on July 23 in the San Jorge neighborhood of the Navarran capital and a young man was seriously stabbed there.

Days before, that young man and a friend, both of Dominican nationality, apparently maintained a confrontation with a compatriot outside a bar in that neighborhood, following which one of the sons of this man called one of the young men to ask for an explanation.

On July 23, the two men, according to the newspaper, went to the arranged meeting and went accosted by at least three hooded people armed with machetes, among which was the young man who had summoned them and who, with an open face, attacked one of them with a knife, who fell to the ground, where the others attacked him with machetes.

The attacked young man remained hospitalized for several days with serious injuries.

The screams of several witnesses made the aggressors will flee and they allowed the victim and his friend to take refuge in the portal of their home.
