The American fitness profile Richard Simmons is dead, writes TMZ.
He was found by cleaning staff in his own home on Saturday.
On Saturday, the police were called Richard Simmons home in Los Angeles, USA. The fitness guru’s cleaning staff had then found him lifeless, writes TMZ.
Simmons was pronounced dead at the scene and the police are not currently investigating a crime.

Had a birthday the day before
The day before he was found dead, Simmons turned 76. On Facebook, he posted several messages on Friday in which he thanked for the congratulations.
“Thanks. I have never received so many messages regarding my birthday in my entire life,” was among the last things he wrote.
He has previously told that he suffered from skin cancer and then urged anyone who discovers the slightest change in the skin to immediately check it out with a doctor.
