It will be possible to ski in Belgium for the first time this season. According to the Eastern Townships tourist office, there would be a layer of nearly 15 centimeters on the highest points of the Hautes Fagnes. In Ovifat, near Waimes, the snow cannons are working and the ski slopes have been groomed, according to the Newspaper.
Skiers will be able to venture onto the green slope and the blue slope, weather conditions permitting. The red slope will remain closed for the moment, due to lack of snow. Sledding enthusiasts will be able to slide down the yellow slopes.
