On August 8, the great Montreal premiere of Notre Dame of Paris, a new version of the musical created 25 years ago by Luc Plamondon and Richard Cocciante. If this 2022 version presents new faces, including Elhaida Dani in the role of Esmeralda and Gian Carlo Schiaretti in the skin of Phœbus, it also marks the return of Bruno Pelletier and Daniel Lavoie. “We’ve been together for a year and a half, but this is our first official release. We met through mutual friends. It’s our last week of vacation without children, so we decided to go for a road trip on a motorcycle somewhere in the United States. It’s a passion that we have in common, we even did our driving course together. He passed his exam much faster than me and he had to wait for me, but hey, I succeeded and here we are discovering new roads on the bike before returning to work at the end of the month.
