First Prehospital Medicine Induction Workshop will strengthen the Situational Room of the Guaicaipuro municipality

Los Teques, Venezuela.- With the aim of expanding knowledge in the area of ​​health, the Mayor’s Office of the Bolivarian Municipality of Guaicaipuro, through the General Directorate of Municipal Health, held this Friday the First Induction Workshop on the management of Prehospital Medicine, in the Hospital’s auditorium Victorino Santaella Ruiz de Los Teques, which seeks to strengthen the jurisdiction’s Situation Room, which will be inaugurated in the coming days.

This was reported by the General Director of Municipal Health, Alonso Quevedo, who explained that there are 46 health professionals, including paramedics and drivers, who will guarantee home health care with ambulances and motorcycle ambulances, bringing pre-hospital care to each of the Guaicaipureños directly to their homes.

“When an emergency occurs, this immediate response brigade will reach the different communities to provide immediate care and according to the patient’s evolution, we decide with the Situation Room, if a transfer to a health center is warranted, we will which we know as Red Code”, explained Quevedo.

Likewise, he pointed out that this workshop was held so that all these professionals manage the same articulation to execute efficient and effective care when required. In addition, he highlighted the importance that this situational room will have, which will allow links and immediate responses to be carried out together with different citizen security agencies in the municipality.

“We will have a Situation Room where the Purple Line will also be included, in coordination with all police officers so that we can have a record of each of these activities where we will approach the different communities in order to decongest the Victorino Santaella Hospital, as part of the health policies carried out by Mayor Farith Fraija”, he concluded.
