Sebrae/PR and partners hold the first meeting in the metaverse, in Maringá
Next Monday (27th), at 4 pm, Sebrae/PR, in partnership with the Commerce Intelligence Center (NIC) and RICMA Tecnologia, will hold, in Maringá, the first meeting on the metaverse. The virtual meeting will bring together trade-friendly companies that offer solutions to leverage business, in order to start planning an immersive virtual mall in the metaverse – a universe that brings the digital and real worlds together using virtual reality as technology.
The objective is for technology companies to align expectations regarding the creation of a mall of solutions in the virtual world for commerce
According to Sebrae/PR consultant Erica Sanches, the first planning meeting for this “menu of solutions” will take place in the metaverse, as a taste of the experience for participants, who will be able to operate in a hyperimmersive virtual universe.
“The objective will be to offer commerce companies this environment and adaptation so that they can boost their sales. We have a portfolio of technological, logistical, marketing, means of payment, trademark and patent registration solutions, among others, that may be available in the metaverse, not just on the internet”, explains Erica.
In the meeting in the metaverse, as is characteristic of this type of environment, 3D avatars of the participants will not only be observers of the virtual world, but will be part of it at a table, through webcams or augmented reality glasses, being able to exchange information, close deals, define strategies, among other possibilities. To help both companies that offer solutions and merchants seeking these services, Sebrae/PR and partners will offer training.
For the initial meeting, participants will access the virtual environment that will be made available to align expectations regarding how they will want to expose their products and services.
Integration
“Participants, from their homes or offices, will be able to integrate. And the idea is that, followingwards, we will have a space with trade-friendly solutions, and in a single visit the trader will be able to find products and services he needs to improve his company or to make the business grow”, explains the developer and partner of the project, Ricardo Matiello, from RICMA Tecnologia.
Matiello adds that, from the metaverse, it will be possible for the members of this “shopping for solutions”, which will be believed in Maringá, to participate in external events, such as fairs anywhere in the world, without having to leave the city.
