First meeting between the Departmental Council and the Autonomy Residences to improve the reception of the elderly in the territory

This Thursday, March 02, Olivier Richefou, President of the Departmental Council, Aurélie Mahier and Corinne Segrétain, departmental advisers will meet the Autonomy Residences. During this first meeting, various points will be discussed, in particular the presentation of new systems and approaches for the continuous improvement of reception conditions as well as an inventory of fixtures concerning the autonomy residences in the department with the prospects for diversifying the public. welcomed and the partnerships with the actors of the territory. It is also an opportunity to highlight the various current strengths and the points to be developed, such as the diversification of the offer and the attractiveness of the professions.

Thanks to IDRA (Initiative for the Development of Autonomy Residences) financial support of €200,000 from CARSAT, the Mayenne Departmental Council wishes to increase the number of places in autonomy residences, by creation, transformation or extension. In the Department, 40 new places will be opened for the elderly.

  • Establishments in the Department apply uniform and significantly lower pricing (917 euros) than the metropolitan tariff average (1078 euros) and slightly lower than the regional average (965 euros)
